When RocklinFurniture.com got 30,000 hits the first month, it was only natural for me to open RocklinLamps.com. There were just to many types of lamps to fit on one page at RocklinFurniture.com. Today, i anticipate that RocklinLamps will be a fast and coming little sister to RocklinFurniture. This supports the same concept of buying at steep discounts and supporting my local friends, neighbors and businesses.
Why I started RocklinFurniture.com
One day, I went to a local furniture store that was closing and decided to update my bedroom furniture. To pay for it, I decided to pick up some other pieces from the closeout. Craig’s list offered me a venue to sell my old furniture. Since I do websites for one of my day jobs, I decided to set up RocklinFurniture.com to sell my old stuff. One thing led to another, and now, one year later, I am told that I am the largest “off the dock” furniture buyer at one of our largest area distributors. You can find me buying furniture from various local venues. If need be, I do some repairs and restorations, too. Folks can trade in their gold or old furniture to help fund their purchases.
Mike’s not just a furniture guy!
I plan to eventually become a full time writer and am working on my next book, “The Corporation.” Already, I have published two works that can be found at www.michaelpatrickmurphy.com. I also, as I stated earlier, do websites and help folks with bankruptcy through the Michael D. Tracy Law Firm. Sometimes I do consulting work with small and micro businesses.
